Professionally...
Mallory has sought out extensive training in the areas of sexuality-informed and trauma-informed care; making healthy, intimate relationships her bread and butter. Intimacy is defined as "closeness". And many times, we, as humans, struggle to engage in closeness with those we love, and even ourselves. One of Mallory's favorite quotes is from John Townsend which states, "Everything significant starts with relationship."

Mallory believes this connection between people is where both wounds and healing occur. She strives to make the therapy room and therapeutic relationship one of safety, trust, connection, and joy (even in the midst of the pain being worked through).

Within her expertise, Mallory enjoys working with individuals and couples. Mallory’s area of focus includes: intimacy issues, healthy sexuality, women’s health issues, the perinatal and postpartum years, betrayal recovery, desire discrepancy, sexual pain and dysfunctions, infertility, relationships, boundaries, healing from trauma and abuse, and healthy family relationships and systems.
Through both personal and professional experiences, Mallory also enjoys working with fostering and adoptive parents; honoring and holding the complex grief that is a part of that dynamic.

Personally...
Mallory decided at a young age to become a helper, and finds joy in the ability to sit with others in their story. Through many wonderful connections, mentors, and supervisors, Mallory was able to find her passion in working specifically with those who have experienced trauma and within the realm of sexuality.
She is a life-long learner and is passionate about sharing her love of learning with others and currently teaches part-time as an online adjunct professor at Truett-McConnell University, her alma mater.
Mallory was born in North Texas and then spent most of her life throughout the Southeast. She now resides in the greater Dallas area with her husband, two children, and mini-aussie. For fun, Mallory enjoys walks, movies, traveling, and pickleball. Mallory regularly and consistently engages in her own growth process and healing with therapy, coaching, and professional development.
