Actively Hiring
Practice Operations & Communications Assistant
The Brooke Center is a Christian faith-based private counseling practice dedicated to serving those ready to do the deep work of healing. We're a small, close-knit team that takes both our clinical work and our culture seriously. And we're looking for someone who wants to be part of something meaningful, not just fill a role.
Key Resonsibilities
-
Client Communications & Scheduling: manage appointments, respond to inquiries
-
Marketing & Community Outreach: social media, newsletters, networking
-
Administrative Support: operations, file organization, workflows
Qualifications
-
Strong communication and organizational skills
-
Comfortable working independently and with technology
-
Discretion and sensitivity in a clinical environment; i.e. HIPAA awareness or willingness to learn
-
Preferred: healthcare or wellness experience, social media or marketing background
You are a great fit if...
-
You enjoy a variety of tasks and bring creativity to whatever lands on your plate
-
You're equally comfortable behind the scenes and in client-facing moments
-
You have a natural warmth in how you communicate, especially in writing
-
You thrive in a small, close-knit team where your work directly impacts the people being served
-
You're comfortable with some ambiguity and can problem-solve without a lot of hand-holding
-
You take confidentiality seriously and understand the weight of working in a clinical setting
-
You manage your own schedule, meet deadlines, and don't need to be micromanaged
-
You receive feedback well and genuinely want to grow in your role
-
You're looking for part-time work that feels purposeful, not just productive
-
You're passionate about mental health and believe in the work being done
-
You're energized by working closely with a founder and understand that in a small practice, your role directly shapes the client experience
This might not be the right fit...
-
You're looking for full-time hours or guaranteed hours beyond 10/week
-
You prefer a highly structured environment with close supervision
-
You're most comfortable specializing in one area — this role wears a lot of hats
-
You're not comfortable working in a clinical setting
-
You need frequent feedback to feel confident in your work
-
You prefer a large team or corporate structure
-
You're primarily motivated by the tasks rather than the mission behind them
